The camera of s24 ultra is absolutely terrible

I got note 8 i was really exicted to get s24 ultra since the my note 8 was beyond dead i wanted a phone with good camera quality but since i bought this phone the back camera is terrible the AI optimization cannot be turned off and the pictures are worse than my old huawei will be there any new updates for the camera or should i sell this phone i paid 1700€ for this terrible camera quality

We have been listening for this update since may and we have seen how it is postponed. Last is that the update We have been listening to this BS since MAY. s actually ready and done but held back without any reason. it is time to finally have it installed in our phones. What Samsung is doing is BS, an you know it. Samsung is incapable to deliver critical updates, to users suffering bugs, on any schedule at all, and deliver on efficient schedule? absolutely far above what samsung is capable of.

People there is a rumor the patch will be postponed again, this time the rumor says it is postponed yet  again, this time for september. This only proves samsung is absolutely incapable to deliver any update on a meaningful schedule.

The camera itself is better. It's just that the optimization makes the photos look lifeless. Usually lowering the light levels before you take the shot and remastering fixes everything. 

But honestly this shouldn't be the case and I hope samsung fixes it. Because I was getting better results with my s21 rather than the 24 ultra. Just with less pixels of course.

I love my S24 Ultra and think my pic come out pretty good. So it's down to your opinion and only that

My opinion is I have put the AI optimisation down to minimal and I got better result than previous phones

I would say take a look at my and other posts in gallery and you can tell me

Like some may say my pictures have got worse some may say better, I think better but I am biased as it my photos

Setting up the camera every time in different conditions when my kids can't sit still for 2 seconds?  R u kidding me? My s21u where taking slightly worse photos. 

S24u camera sucks! Especially in comparison to other flagships now.

Bull s..t. I just made self test. I have s21u , and pixel 7 pro with broken screen. Took some evening photos inside of the apartment on each phone.

S24u is slightly better from s21u , and totally sucks in comparison to p7p.

I get your point, indoors could do better, however outdoors and events, S24U is king.

The patch which fixes the camera arrived, finally arrived. Install it! Ot introduces lot of fixes for the cameras
