Anybody has an idea as to why I still haven't gotten the One Ui 7 update on my galaxy S24 Ultra yet and there's already one Ui 8 beta out.

Ui8 bets isn't out for S24.

The main reason you wouldn't get it is region locked. Go to settings > About phone > Software information > Service provider software version = what does it say? If the region doesn't match, this will be why. Normally, when a device is bought from a different country, second hand, or refurbished...

You probably have an issue with your updates. Settings, about phone, software information, what is the android security patch level?

My guess is it's really out of date. Usual causes for this are your phone isn't originally from the uk, it was imported from another country. It could also happen if you are using a sim card for another country in your uk phone.

Possible fixes, try using smart switch on a pc and see if it'll update the phone.

You can also try to find out the original country of the phone, then get a cheap pay as you go sim to put in every now and again.

Kinda drastic option, you could fully reflash your phone using smart switch on a pc to the latest version. Would wipe all data and be a little complex.

I see this issue a lot so that's the rapid fire of possible issues and fixes

Have you checked for updates in settings?
Just making sure.

If you have, have you attempted to update it using a pc and Samsung switch?

You may be able to update via smart switch on a pc... if not theres not much you can do

OP could get a PAYG Sim for the country or region the device was designed for, connect it to a network, leave it for a few minutes then (using WiFi) try again to update.

If that doesn't work, would have to top up the sim to use mobile data.

We do not recommend changing CSC codes on here for the following reasons;

1. Invalidates warranty
2. Can invalidate Knox
3. Software must be official, lots of dodgy sites out there
4. Many users (without being rude here) won't have the skill set to do this and may end up bricking their phone

Then they come on here demanding Samsung fix the issue. Samsung WON'T fix a device where the user has tried to change CSC, nor will they offer any warranty repairs. They may not even offer chargeable repair.
