Sim card problems

Not sure if its a one ui 7 issue or my provider issue but sometimes my sim just randomly starts having no service and has to be restarted to work again

Can try taking the SIM out and giving g it a wipe.
If your phone is duel SIM, maybe try it in the other sim slot.
With the gradual turn off of 3G services. Could be you might need an updated SIM card if your one is older.
If it happens mainly in one area, it could be to do with the network provider
