Hey guys! Hope everyone is well.

OPINIONS WANTED

Today I'm here to ask those of you who have upgraded from the s23 ultra to the s24 ultra.
Starting with the main questions:
  • Is it worth it? - What real change have you noticed compared to the S23 Ultra?
  • Camera Quality - Is there much upgrade in terms of the camera?
  • Battery Life - How is the battery compared to the S23 Ultra?
  • How does the claim work? - right now there's a £200 cashback offer, and a free phone case and charging pad when a review is left, how do I claim these?
For me, the main benefits that are advertised are the anti glare screen, Galaxy AI,supposedly better camera.

If I were to upgrade, it'd have to be very soon as I'm going to Spain on the 23rd.

Should I wait for the S25 Ultra?

Hey there

Personally I wouldn't. I have both and I view the S23 Ultra as being marginally a better device (and one of the best Samsung have ever produced).

S24 Ultra cameras are still like marmite. I'm not a fan in the S24 Ultra.

Battery life is good on the S24 Ultra but not worth paying hundreds to upgrade for.

Personally you'd be better off sticking with the S23 Ultra
In my case I have issues with the cameras that have never been resolved
But others the cameras are good
If you use screen protectors, then the anti glare screen is pointless. Unless you get the Samsung one.

With the S25 series rumoured in January. It's probably worth waiting

Hey! Thank you for the quick response.
As someone who uses a camera almost daily for a hobby, Do you think it's that bad? (serious question)

Based off of what u said, I might hold off and wait for the s25 ultra

The camera isn't "bad" but it isn't good either.

For point and shoot, 12mp is your go to. 50mp has recently improved to be similar to 12mp.

200mp may get the headlines but it is poor by comparison.

In all cases, zooming more than about 2.5x will wreck your image. Zoom is poor on all cameras in my view.

Samsung have never addressed the issues with S24 cameras and I would always recommend an S23 Ultra over an S24 Ultra on this point.

I had Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, and now I have Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.
There is not a huge difference between them.
S24 Ultra is slightly faster,
has support for the Wi-Fi 7,
seven years of the Android upgrades,
an anti-reflection display,
and that's basically all.
I personally didn't notice any difference between them at all,
even the caneras seems to be very similar.
Wait for the S25 Ultra instead.

Thanks for the reply!
We have a WiFi 7 router at home which id like to see the benefits but obviously that's not a huge thing for me ATM.
The Software support isn't major either as I tend to upgrade every 2 or 3 years although the anti reflective screen was a big thing for me aswell as the cameras

Just going to hold off until the s25 ultra, Thanks again.
