Samsung are not the only ones to follow Apple on this.
That said some manufacturers do still include the charging brick at least.
This is why the manufacturers now describe what to expect in the retail box.
It's all about reducing the carbon footprint.

It’s been like this for years any new flagship galaxy iPhone or even pixel I believe is like this. It’s annoying but it’s the new norm.
