Screen Curtain - This is Awesome

Lovely People 

Just found this cool feature under Good Guardians App > Battery Guuardians > Screen Curtain.

Basically it let's you turn the screen off and let the app play in the background.

I like listening to my playlists on YouTube and obviously not having YouTube premium had to keep the screen ON to play them.

So this feature let's me turn my screen off while blasting YouTube in the background. 

How cool is that?

There is also an option in Accessibility settings > Installed apps to turn it on using a gesture.

If you enable this, then a notification keeps popping up that Screen Curtain can access all the data on the screen. So a bit of security concern. Having said that, I have used it a few times with YouTube.

Another option is tonuse Samsung Internet to play YouTube videos and tun on Background play in Settings > Useful features.

For some reason it doesn't work on my s24 ultra anymore. Got error message "Can't turn on screen curtain mode while YouTube is running" . Does it still work for you? Thanks

Yeah. I normally use it to play YouTube music.

Start by playing YouTube videos and then swipe down from my notifications panel and click on screen Curtain.

All it does is blank my screen really so I can leave the phone anywhere in the house and listen to youtube with my headphones.

I think so. Screen curtain is still working for YouTube TV though
