Screen brightness

Is anyone else having trouble with screen brightness since having the software update. My is very dim I've do everything from screen brightness Adaptive brightness is off eye comfort shield is off. It on vivid white balance is turned up to warm and the same in advance settings. And I've even run a diagnostics to check the sensors. And cleared the cache. Only the one thing I haven't done is factory reset and i really don't want to do that if it can't be resolved

Exact same issue, noticed immediately after the update, as I was outside and in the sun. Upon restart, for a couple of seconds, it looks normal but then dims automatically so that in bright sunlight it's completely inelligeble and almost unusable. Horrible.
