samsung s24 ultra showing emergency calls only even though having full signal strength bar

good day,

i was using Samsung s21 ultra and recently exchanged for S24 ultra 2 days back. The issue started after few hours of inserting m old sim which was working fine in my old Samsung S21 ultra which is now only shoeing emergency calls only inspite of having full signal bar. I did try all the methods like restarting the phone, changing the sim card to other sim card tray, resetting the network connection but it works only for 1-2 hours and again its going back to Emergency call only mode. So i am looking for anyone facing the similar problem and any help which will resolve this issue. thank you.

I have been facing this issue since end of July, and I had buy cheap phone at 11 pounds to divert all my calls to.

That's very unfortunate . Try to change it to 4g from 5g mode. It's worked for me. I know we shouldn't be changing that but no other choice.

Got my ultra 2 weeks ago, this is affecting me, is there a genuine fix for this, the sim is fine it's clearly some kind of software issue.

Happening to my S23 plus after recent android update. Keeps going into Emergency calls. Only turning airplane mode on and off brings it back. I think Samsung needs to fix this as it's their issue affecting multiple models.

I'll try the 5G to 4G fix and see if that works. So annoying.

Hey. Yeah. I got Samsung s24 ultra 2 months back and this issue is going on from day one. Even the recent update didn't resolve this issue. So so annoying. After trying lots of options the only method worked out for me is turning to 4G from 5G.
I hope Samsung resolve this issue asap.

Hey. I am sorry to know about this. Yeah I got my s24 ultra by September and this is going on since then. I tried so many methods but only turning to 4G from 5G works.
But that's not the genuine fox which we are hoping for. But at least it keeps my phone running without turning into emergency calls.
I really hope Samsung will fix this asap.

Yes so far 5g to 4g is also working. Clearly an issue with Samsung fimware affecting 5g connectivity. They need to see our messages and provide a solution.

I get no 4 or 5 g, barely get data, no amount of restarts etc has fixed it and I didn't realise the problem until I was outside the returns period. Samsung need to pull their finger out and fix this.

Yeah I have sent them numerous messages but their solutions didn't help me out.
Not sure what to do.
