I bought a Samsung S24 plus exynos 2 days back . The phone was heating up a little , did not mind much because I thought Samsung will release a patch soon and fix it. But yesterday night I charged my phone UpTo a 100% , used it for say 30 minutes and went to sleep . It was 95% when I went to sleep , woke up to 65% phone . What a huge drop during idle time ! I am worried right now whether I should wait for an update or return the phone .

Do you have features such as AOD turned On @Aravindh93

Also have a look in your Device Care Section under Battery to see what's using your battery.

Social Media can act as vampire apps draining the battery in the background along with location driven apps etc.

The battery will also still be in it's learning phase which can take typically between 1~2 weeks and as the battery is new it'll take a few discharge cycles and recharge cycles to reach optimum output.

If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate to ask.  😎

Well there was a 30% drop during idle time as you checked the photos . My phone on normal usage is showing temperature up to 33-34°c(not sure if that's okay), so I switched my network to 4G ,  I don't  generally have AOD , reduced my display from QHD to FHD...now it seems to be alright ...so now it's 31% battery from 65% on 3hrs 15minutes of usage

You're only 2 days in.

Your device will spend a couple of weeks learning your usage and battery patterns.

It takes 10 to 14 days to take effect. Not a week.

@Aravindh93

5G can certainly drain the battery so changing to 4G will I believe help.

Signal is weak too looking at your screenshot so when off Wi-Fi it will work harder to maintain connection.
