I recently went to Samsung 837 to get the back cover of my phone fixed.

They repaired the back glass but they ended up damaging small portions of the frame and delaminating a small portion of the screen, all after charging me $140, I asked them to repair this, but they said no as they were unable to verify that they caused the damage because the before photos they took were too blurry.

Is there any way I can get this repair? This is honestly such a disappointing and stressful experience

Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum Section for Uk  / Eu users.

An authorised Samsung Service Centre would guarantee their workmanship @Walter_K

The engineer taking the photo's to show it's aesthetic condition had a Duty of Care to ensure these were clear incase of dispute.

When a person is submitting their phone for an authorised repair I always advise to take time and date stamped photos themselves of the phone, with one of the phone turned On to show the aesthetic condition of the phone themselves.

Also one of the water indicator usually visible in the sim tray port.

The best advise I can give is to contact Samsung directly to escalate the situation.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

Thanks for the advice, kind of ashamed I didn't take those precautions myself, but I guess I've had too much faith in Samsung. Also, What do you mean by contacting samsung directly to escalate the situation?
