Samsung Pass error on S24

I've just upgraded to the new S24 after coming from the Z flip 5.

I keep getting this error message on samsung pass. On my flip, I had all my passwords saved on pass and now pass doesn't work on s24.

In settings, everything related to Samsung Pass isn't black and bold, so it's not giving ne the option to select anything. 

Samsung Wallet is working. I just can't access Pass in the wallet. 

Is anyone else having this issue?

Hi @LisaAnne12 

If you've used Samsung SmartSwitch to transfer your information across then there may have been a glitch on the transfer. 

First try going into Settings > Apps > Samsung Pass > Clear Cache > Reboot the phone by turning the phone Off and On and then see what happens. 

If that does not help then in the same area you can opt to Clear Data , however this will then delete any saved data. 

Before deleting the data part you could also try these generic troubleshooting steps >

The very last resort might be to factory reset but them do not use your BackUp to restore the phone. 

Instead set the phone up as new and then see what happens @LisaAnne12

Hi.

They might be just updating it.

Try again after a day or two and also make sure all apps are updated in both Samsung and Google store

Hi there

There is a notice in Samsung Members App advising that Samsung Pass is being withdrawn.

Everything should now be in Samsung Wallet.

If you've activated Wallet, Pass will no longer work.

Thank you so very much for your advice.

I uninstalled, reinstalled samsung wallet. I cleared the cache. I put my phone into safe mode. I restarted my phone. 

I ended up deleting the cache and data and that fixed it up!!

I had to re add a few cards, but all my passwords are there and now passwords works!

I ended up deleted my data on my samsung pass and that worked!

Samsung Pass in an option in Samsung Wallet, so I can now access my passwords and cards in my wallet.

I appreciate everyone's advice/tips/comments :smiling-face:
