Samsung pass occasionally refusing to use fingerprint

9/10 samsung pass will let me use fingerprint when filling a password. However in a set few it recently just stopped working and now required my PIN in order to fill the password. Is this due to the sites restrictions or is there a thing I can do to return it to how it was.

If it works on other sites then it is probably an issue with few where it doesn't

Try a basic fix - clean your phone screen and ensure your finger isn't greasy. Do you have a screen protector?

I do but its the official samsung one and works perfectly with the fingerprint. I also regularly clean my screen as I hate the disgusting fingerprint marks.

Are you definitely using the right finger?

Yeah, and it doesn't even show up to offer me to try use my finger, but only on set apps/websites, even though some used to allow it before it randomly stopped

It could be the apps that have stopped it. Also ensure the fingerprint is precise (not curved or wobbly).
