So I've switched to this phone but my SIM 1 isn't being recognized as the default sim for the Samsung Messages RCS but the old SIM 2 only. Any idea how to fix this? I get no options to choose main RCS SIM or anything.

Did setting SIM 1 for data allowed you to use it as the default for RCS messages?

I think for all galaxy phones you can go to Settings>> connections>>sim manager and you should be able to choose which sim you want for calls messages and data. Apologies if you tried it already and it didnt work..in that case not sure what else you can do.

RCS needs data, I assume that the Sim that you select for mobile data must be the default for RCS messages. Do you have Sim2 as the mobile data sim?
