S25 base or S24 ultra?

I need help in choosing between the new galaxy s25 base model and galaxy s24 ultra model as they comes at the same price in my region. Which one should I pick?

To me, there are only one reason to get the S25 base model: 1. Longer updates (features)..which isn't a whole lot more. These aren't even that valid.

Display: The S24 Ultra has a larger and higher-resolution display. Camera: The S24 Ultra has a more advanced camera system with higher megapixels and additional telephoto lenses. Battery: The S24 Ultra has a larger battery capacity. Processor: The S25 base model has a newer and more efficient processor.

Realistically, the S24 Ultra is better in my opinion. It's called the Ultra for a reason and is far superior to base models.

Difficult to say but the S24ultra is soon going to be unavailable online to buy as the stocks are running low. One of the reasons why Samsung is pushing to sell the S25.

@Binula if not having an sPen is not a deal breaker then personally I'd opt for the s²⁵

S24 Ultra if you want the full functionality that Samsung has to offer this includes the Spen camera control. However if you're not fussed about the pen then the s25 will carry the later OS with more AI availability, for the S24u there's the beta software which is pretty good too. The edges of the Ultra is uncomfortable without a case. Can't really go wrong with either except the value will probably decrease faster in the S24U.

It really depends on your needs. Do you want a larger screen and a phone with more features, or do you want a smaller form phone with the latest OS and CPU/GPU/NPU? In my opinion from a purely technical aspect, the S24 Ultra is the obvious winner, however this is purely a personal choice.

S24 almost identical as the 25, in some respects it better, and of course should be cheaper now too

I would go for the S24 Ultra over the S25 base model even if it were a bit more expensive.

Either phone will serve you well, but the Ultra models have the edge. The S24 is only a year, tech wise is not miles behind, it is a great phone, it has 6 years more of OS and security updates.

It is a big phone and some users would not like it, but it is a huge plus for me. Camera wise is not bad and then there is the S Pen with Bluetooth support.

Of course, your opinion is the most important. If possible go to a shop and see how they feel in your hands.
