I am coming to love more and more the S24U display.
These are my settings right now (screnshot attached) and I am very satisfied on how it feels on the eye.
Not all the time I am using it in dark mode, dark mode is mostly for night time, combined with 'extra dim' to aid to the comfort of the eye.
Browsing on the display is without fault, the colours and the detail that I can see are very good as well. I feel this way wether I am browsing pictures or videos, also videos feel very fluid to watch, I feel this is a tad superior to my older gen phones.
The display is very responsive, it's very easy to edit pictures, write texts and edit and compose almost anything in every way you like. It reminds me the same feeling I have when I am doing these things on a computer. At least, this is my experience with it.
I am using the display on 60 Hz refresh rate and it feels very smooth, but even if I chose 60Hz instead of 120 Hz the phone would swap between refresh rates and the battery still has a long life , the less I get is about 6 hrs, the most I get is 12 hrs or more, depending on my usage.
I love the Microsoft integration (works very well and is the reason why i have been using Samsung phones) and the edit options you have for editing pictures in the gallery. Using Samsung Notes is very easy and smooth as well.
I have some apps downloaded on my phone, but the phone's own apps integration is quite enough for me to do the things I want, the only extra app I am using more
is Microsoft Office because of the Documents writing features and the way it's designed for office work.
I believe if it were possible, maybe the screen could become a bit more brighter (as in white to be whiter/brighter) while browsing in daylight, if possible through software updates, but 90% I am happy with the display.
I have attached three screen shots for reference for colours, settings and detail.
