Now bar / Notification bar

Hi, 

I am looking to remove the pill in the notification bar for the now bar content. 

It seems a bit redundant as its too small to display any meaningful content and just blocks space for notifications that I actually want to see. 

I have an option of removing now bar altogether which takes out the notification panel and lockscreen panel and Spotify (media player) can't display anywhere. 

Any way of doing this?

To my understanding, it's all or nothing. Now the bar has very limited control, being either on or off for each available function.

*as of now there is also no customisations with goodlock either

Try goodlock. I was missing a couple of things on that top left side, so I moved the clock to the top right instead of the top left and am able to see more notifications on the top left. It's definitely an improvement.
