The screen of my new phone s24u is about 20 percent dimmer than that of my old one s23u. Feedback has been given to Samsung, but they say it cannot be compared with s23u! Samsung is so disappointing!

I feel like it's way too bright and try to keep it comfortably low in most situations.
It's kinda brilliant in the daylight outside as well.
For reference I am comparing it to the s21 ultra

Hi @Ho Wai jiun
Have installed the latest update? There some vividness setting that will allow you to change that.
Check Settings -> Display -> Adaptive brightness (toggle this off if you want the phone to keep the brightness in all light conditions)
Settings -> Display -> Screen mode -> Vividness -> Advanced settings (change them to the desired settings)
To be able to change Vividness settings
Settings -> Display -> Adaptive colour tone (must be toggle off)
I hope this helps.

How did you measure this?
Galaxy S25 Ultra / 1T / Microsoft Launcher / Spigen Liquid Air case / Samsung Silicone case

I just put the lux meter on a white screen and measured. Maybe the measuring tool is wrong, but the difference is obvious to the naked eye.

Hi, GoanGeek.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra has a peak brightness of 2,600 nits, making it one of the brightest smartphone displays on the market. That's significantly higher than the S23 Ultra's 1,750 nits.
The increased brightness is great for outdoor visibility, but you can definitely adjust the screen Settings to a more comfortable level for indoor use. What I'm not happy about is that the new one is darker than the old one!
Thanks for sharing experience.

And for the the peak brightness the brightness has to be in Auto mode as manual won't let you go that high.
