When I charge my S24FE, the screen turn on automatically and stays on till I manually turn it off by pressing the side button. ( stays on for the whole night) Always on display is off.

My S23+ and S22+ Never had this issue. How do fix this, so that the screen would briefly turn on when charging but turn off automatically?

Hello,

Thanks for the reply.

I don't see Developer options. However as I was digging the settings, I found ' show charging information ' was on. Under it I found screensaver, and it had an option to show screensaver while charging option, and I turned if off. I think that would solve the problem.

Thank you for your help anyway.

Greetings, @Bearbear99

Do you have Developer options enabled? You can check this by opening Settings, and scrolling to the very bottom. If you're able to see 'Developer options' as an option, then this means that it is enabled.

Kind Regards,

Hi @Bearbear99 and warm welcome to the community 👋

Have you checked your screen timeout in settings > display > screen timeout you can change it from 15 seconds to 10 minutes.

Like @RyanD2 said make sure if you have developer options enabled, and if you do turn off "always awake" option.

Hello,

Thanks for the reply. The time off was set to 30 sec but I think I found a solution now.
