How to avoid phone shutdown when locked

Let's say my phone is locked, If someone steal it they can scrow down the quick panel and be able to switch it off, my question is, can I do something to prevent this ie asking for password before shutdown

Review and enable some additional options under the Secure lock settings. You will always be able to turn off the device by holding the power off button

Hey there

Turning off the device isn't an issue, if your device went missing and they turned it off, they wouldn't be able to access your info in the device.

Make due you have both a SIM pin and device pin turned on. Make sure they are different as well. That way whenever your device is unlocked by you or anyone else, you'll need to enter the pins. You can also choose biometrics (fingerprint) to unlock your device and many apps to add security.

If you have the biometrics enabled then a person cannot turn off the phone without using your fingerprint @carlycalton
