S24 ultra owners. Just wondering what happened with the display issue on the s24 ultra did it ever get changed or is it still the same. For the 24 hours I owned mine I really like the new display tone it was warm and nice. It reminded me a lot of the iPhone and my 15 is very similar. Was just wondering what ever happened or has Samsung said that’s just the way it is? Also anyone else on here have issues with the s24 ultra when they got it? Shame my had the dead pixel or I would have one in my hands now.

Who are you people. I noticed all of your post dates are from June (6/3/24. Well guess what. It's still zmay of 2024. Are you from the future?
Anyway glad you all are so happy about your S24. I was told yesterday by Samsung that the patch to fix the washed out screen had been released. Then I contacted level 2 tech support at Verizon. They checked and told me the update patch had been pushed out 2 days ago on 5/15/24. I checked and my phone had received the update. The screen is still washed out especially compared to my S22 Ultra I traded in to buy the S24. I am very disappointed. I do not see any difference in the screen since the software update. I will be returning my phone to Verizon later today. BIG WASTE OF TIME , MONEY AND HUGE DISSAPOINTMENT.

Our date format is different to yours I’m guessing you’re posting from America? This is the European group so that date is 6th march 24. I’m sorry your not happy with your s24 ultra its better than mine was though mine came with a dead pixel. Unfortunately samsung wasn’t very helpful in the matter so I had to move. Have you adjusted your setting to the most vivid setting?

Hello all!
So I purchased the same phone (Samsung S24 Ultra) and I encountered the same problem that everyone else was encountering back in January and February. The display colors were atrocious. The whole thing was a nightmare to deal with. Verizon sent out two separate brand new phones (both S24's) that had the same results. I dealt with a multitude of representatives (Verizon executive CS), multiple phone conversations and chat sessions with both Verizon and Samsung. I went into the Verizon corporate store and many of these people didn't know, barely cared and/or couldn't see what I was talking about. Even as it was staring them right in their faces. It's like everyone was gaslighting me which was insulting in of itself. The Samsung Corporate office was definitely the most despicable and the rudest of everyone involved. I'm still contemplating if I wanna stay with them or Verizon (after being a loyal 10-year customer with each company). The most helpful was some random Verizon chat agent who was a supervisor. This anonymous representative said it was because of this Gorilla glass screen version. They seemed the most knowledgeable and helpful.
I'm also beyond grateful to all the other Samsung S24 owners here who've been involved with this as well as the Samsung owners on Reddit who've all confirmed what I knew all along. The end story is I was forced to go back to my old phone.
That being said, I have been keeping tabs on this whole affair since going back to my old phone. I just bumped onto this post and I noticed that this vividness slider option that you're referring to. I don't know if this is just my imagination but I could have swore that this same slider option you're referring to was present back when I briefly had my S24? 🤔 Because myself and many other agents were messing around trying to help me and tinkering with multiple settings on said model back then.
Whatever the case, I am exploring my options. Should I stay with Verizon and Samsung? I'm not so sure. I'd like to hear all thoughts on this from the Samsung community. Is it much ado about nothing? As far as im concerned, once customer service fails, so does the company. I'm every bit as upset about how the executive offices behaved towards me as they failed to properly own it and summarily dismissed me. The gaslighting, the rudeness and the obstinacy is disgusting and can't be overlooked. It's not a way forward. So I need to know how everyone reading this was treated besides learning if the whole issue was fully resolved before making any final decisions.
Thanks everyone!

This is the European versions so I can’t comment on Verizon as we don’t have it. My thoughts on Samsung though are stay well clear. I had an s24 ultra which failed from day one and had to wait 4 months for a replacement so I cancelled my order and lost £200 of my trade in. My wife had an s23 and 7 months later it fails to charge via usb. Samsung answer is wait for another update even though they have already had 2. We both have iPhones now and it will probably stay that way. I will never purchase Samsung products ever again. I’m only on the group now as I still have a couple of remaining Samsung products that haven’t died yet and I do like talking to some people on here about the products. I like the Samsung products but Samsung customer service as pushed me away forever this time I have never been so let down.

Thanks for your response.
I actually didn't notice this is the European site. Either way, doesn't it go to show how widespread this problem is?
I did not like how Samsung behaved towards me whatsoever. They did this deniablity act with every exchange we had and that was a downright slap in the face. Not just to me, but to all customers.
So do you or does anyone else reading this know if this "vividness slider" improved anything?
I would go with Apple but, however, to my knowledge, they don't carry any products with a built-in stylus; which is something I really want and that I find very useful and handy for the numerous tasks I do. Unfortunately, there is very little on the smartphone market that has this option, except for certain dubious selections such as this Motorola option (my secondary phone is a Motorola and I am not impressed with it!). I also don't know how this Motorola model's specs would compare with any current Apple models or the S24.
