My s24ultra was smooth sailing until the most recent update, now whenever I want to connect anything in the usb c port that isn't a charger will work for a couple minutes then disconnect. I then get the notification of "usb connector connected/disconnected". First noticed with my g8 galileo controller attachment, but now that I'm trying to connect an external display via usb c to hdmi, it gives me the same notification/error. Hate to have to return this device after barely setting it up completely no less than a month ago. Any ways to resolve this issue?

Hey guys, same pain here - I just got a brand new S24 ultra, and it gives an error "USB is not supported" when I plug my 3.5mm headphones via a connector. That is a soft one I have from my previous Huawei. Probably it does not have this DAC chip built in. I also tried absolutely all the troubleshooting online to no avail. Ordered a hard 3.5-USB-C adapter - I hope this works. Do you think Samsung actually read these forums? I do hope hope they resolve this - for the pile of money it costs, this phone should be able to cook and clean at home.

Hi Iva, I use a Belkin connector with no issue:

Unfortunately, it solved itself through a software update pushed by samsung. Nothing i did to the phone os settings seemed to work. Iirc, it was pushed to my s24u last November. Perhaps there's a version of one ui you could manually push to the phone, if it's not being pushed by your service provider over the air?
