S24 Ultra sound issues

Has anyone experienced sound issues with the S24 ultra? I sometimes lose notification sounds completely or the sound is very distorted. Would be grateful for any advice.

Ok. Let me elaborate a little. I am a mom of 4 and a wife. I home school and have a lot of out of state family. So I make a LOT of phone calls. Daily I get complaints from whomever I am calling that they can not hear me. They say it is choppy and half of my words cut out. I am completely fed up.

Ι face exactly the same, but I noticed it during calls. Also, there is an insane ammount of coil whine,  very noticeable in calls, coming from the top speaker.

So, today I received the second update... Mostly a security update, no fixes for crackling sound or the top speaker coil whine.

This is infuriating!

Ich habe mein S24 Ultra wegen einem Soundproblem (der Hörer, obere Lautsprecher, ist sehr leise) am 10.02.2024 zu Umtausch eingeschickt.  Bislang leider noch keine verbindliche Auskunft wann ich ein neues  Gerät bekomme. Sehr schlechter Service. Online in dem Portal braucht man nicht zu schauen sind auch keine Information drin. Wenn man dort beim Service anruft kommt man über die erste Bearbeitungsebenen nicht hinweg. Niemand mit dem man sprechen kann der das Gerät tatsächlich vor sich liegen hat.

This is my 2nd s24 ultra in 3 weeks, both phones have faulty in call sound issues, would not recommend phone for calling, all calls have intermittant sound when talking, so not so good of a phone so far

I have the S24 plus. This phone is painful to listen to.  Especially after the money I spent.   The speakers with or without headphones have a constant "hiss" that is like white noise.  It's constant.   My prehistoric S10 sounded perfect but I'm screwed now because I did the upgrade.  So this is the new flagship phone I'm stuck with for a minimum of 3 years till it's paid off.

I have similar issues to yours

Sometimes my phone stops outputting sound till I do a reboot.

And if it's connected to a headset, thesame thing happens and forces me to  cycle the Bluetooth On and Off.

Sometimes on a call, the other person suddenly stops hearing me till I drop and call back.

It might be an AI learning thing, but it socks so far

The sound system is horrible on the S24. My S23 Ultra woukd be at 25 percent and was plenty loud. The 24 is atleast at 60 before you can even hear it. Ridiculous
