I think your question is answered on @GusB 's post. "quite significant heat when using the phone during gaming or intensive tasks"
@GusB what sort of temperature are we talking about? Does you app shows numbers instead of emojis?
Is it too hot to hold?

Running games or certain apps as I did with S23 Ultra but that didn't generate this much heat...
I don't have numbers to share for temperature

That is really worrying. Let's hope that it is a faulty phone and not a designed flaw.

- charged phone to 100% battery, it didn't get hot but let it rest for a few mins
- load up CarX Street temperature shows 33 degrees
- after just 10 mins playing temp shows 46 degrees
- maintains 45/46 temperature
- lost 10% battery after less than 20mins play
- GPU 85-95%

- load game, temperature shows 33/34
- loading screen temperature rises to 36
- 7 minutes of play gets up to 42 degrees
- GPU 90-99%
