S24 Ultra overheating after update

I've just updated my s24 ultra ( 1 UI 6.1 January Patch) and after restarting device, it started overheating to a point where I had to put the phone on the floor for it to cool down. Can anyone tell me why it's happening and how I can prevent it from reoccurring again. Thanks

Normally after an update you should clear the cache

1. Turn off the device.
2. Connect To Computer USBC to USBC (you may also connect to another Samsung mobile via USBC). Press and hold the Volume Up key and then press and hold the Power key 3. When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
4. Wait until the Android system recovery menu options appear.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to
highlight wipe cache partition.
6. Press Power key to select.
7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes,
them and press the Power key to select.
8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9. Press the Power

In addition to everything mentioned, I also do this - I reset all settings to their defaults, i.e. remove all personalization (theme, font, lock screen settings), and put everything back to the original way it came. After an update, I can easily personalize my phone again. I read this recommendation a long time ago on the xda forum and since I've been using it, I've had no more problems. I also do this before every monthly update, and especially before the big upgrade that's coming soon.

I'm having the same issue. Today I installed the update and after restart it is very hot next to the cameras. Did you manage to solve this issue ? Thanks

I did this, this morning. It seems to have fixed the problem.

thank you. (S24U) - our S24+ does not have the issue, but i tend to 'play' more with the settings on my 'U'.
