Not a rant, genuinely curious if anyone has noticed any significant issues after the Aug/Sept 6.1.1 Update to OneUI?

Only had mine a few days, already had to factory reset my phone twice (which could be my problem, dunno yet)
But.....
Only thing I am noticing early on is battery usage/performance. Now it may just be me, I'm withholding judgement for now until I have given it a wk or so, but has anyone else noticed a significant reduction in battery life since the upgrade?

Any other issues of note, please feel free to drop below, so I (and others) can keep an eye out.

I unfortunately have an issue where the phone randomly goes into "emergency calls only" mode. Seems to happen between the 2-4 hour mark. Switching airplane mode on and off seems to solve it. Very annoying as I keep missing calls 😔

There is now a shutter sound when taking screenshots. There was no sound before this update (installed 9/21/24), and I can't find a way to turn it off. I checked screenshot/screen recording settings, no option to turn off sound there. I checked and ensured shutter sound is off in camera settings. Checked in Good Lock, and I didn't have the Nice Shot app installed, so I installed it to see if there were any sound options there, but there's not.

Also, I'm having issues with the volume panel. Volume is adjusting as usual by using the up/down buttons or sliding the volume up/down when the volume panel pops up on the right hand side of the screen. But after adjusting and the panel closes, it randomly pops up again and again. It's like once engaged, it just stays active. I first noticed it while on Instagram. I clicked the volume down button, volume panel popped up on the right, I saw the volume go down, the panel closed, I kept scrolling, and a few seconds later when I scrolled past another post with sound, the panel popped up again unprompted. I thought it was an IG issue but IG is up to date, and I now see it happening in all apps. For example, I closed all apps and was just on my home screen, I adjusted the volume (panel popped up), I waited a few minutes, opened YouTube and clicked a video, volume panel popped up again unprompted.

The constant popping up of the panel is very annoying, but it's also inconvenient because I have my volume keys remapped (up key opens Recents, down key takes screenshots), but those actions don't happen when the volume panel is engaged. Prior to this update, everything was working fine. I could adjust volume and once the volume panel closed, I could use the volume keys to do the remapped actions immediately, but now since the volume panel stays engaged even after closing, the remapped actions aren't working. I've uninstalled and reinstalled every app I could think of IG, Spotify, button remapper app, sound assist in Good Lock app, updated YouTube. Problem still persists.

I'm having issues after aug/sept software update.  It was all perfect until the update, now there battery issues along with overheating.  I have not tried factory reset, but have tried everything else.

It seems like "contact storage " is eating up battery .

Anyone here has issues like mine?
