S24 Ultra - No step counter in notifications pull down.

Just wanted to check if anyone has this working.
In my S23 Ultra, I used Samsung Health to monitor my steps and when I pulled down the notifications panel, there would be a permanent notification line with a dynamic step counts value (it would increase as I walked) - not a widget.
I've tried to set this up on my new S24 Ultra (did an upgrade with trade-in of my S23 Ultra) but no such "step counter" notification line entry is there.

Is this feature available in the S24 Ultra, or has it been released with fewer features than the S23 Ultra?

(I'll also say the S23 Ultra had vertical app drawer scrolling (via Home-Up module of Good Lock) but that's not available in S24 Ultra either.)

Thanks for any advice on how I can the step counter in my notifications drop-down, S24 Ultra.

Check in the Samsung Health notification categories, if Steps is toggled on. Do note that since One UI 6.0, the steps notification can be swiped away (at least on S22+, that I have).

@dorito

Open Samsung health and check

Settings -> notifications and "Allow notifications" is toggle on.

In addition at the bottom, on "Notifications categories" check that steps is also toggle on.

S24 Ultra doesn't have the 'steps' and there is nothing to toggle.

Allow notifications is ON, Still no steps count on the notification bar

Did you also check?

Settings -> Notifications -> Advanced settings -> Manage notification category for each app.

That should also be toggle on, for the extra setting to appear.

Why, oh why, do they have to make it so freaking excruciatingly complex??? 4 layers of settings about a notification that should be enabled by default... The world is going to hell :smiling-face: Thanks a lot for pointing it out!
