I have an S24 Ultra on UK Vodafone network. I know it's locked to Vodafone software as it says EUX-VOD for software. My phone says its up to date on MAY security update. Smart switch says the same. Is my phone up to date or is something wrong?
Honestly I don't think flashing an unlocked UK version would be straight forward. A few years ago it would have been easier to flash but now it's more complicated. Personally I wouldn't due to the potential of bricking the phone and triggering Knox. I'm wondering if the repair place flashed a European Vodafone firmware by mistake?
I have attached the software info for my phone so hopefully that can help? Flashing software I have done before but I'm fully aware it's risky as don't want an expensive brick if it goes wrong.
So it's the same model number as mine, when I Google your baseband version it comes up on various websites saying Singapore or Indonesia or Russia, very strange 🤔
That's exactly what I found! It said lots of different countries but never the UK. That's why I thought I would ask as it just seems all very weird. Any recommendations?
I would point it out to Vodafone and explain it is not a UK firmware, are you able to check the imei numbers match from the box to the ones on your handset?
