S24 ULTRA Hotspot 5 & 6Ghz not working

Hi

Three separate devices are not able to use above 5Ghz hotspot on S24 Ultra.

I've reset network and bluetooth on the phone and this has not helped. 

My devices will connect to phone hotspot but only at 2.4Ghz.

Dose anyone else have this issue or can you confirm you are able to use 5Ghz okay?

Found a workaround:

1. Set your hotspot to be 'Open' (so no Wi-Fi password is required).
2. Connect your device to the hotspot.
3. Now, enter a password for the hotspot.
4. Turn off Wi-Fi on your laptop (for example) for 30 seconds and then turn it back on.
5. Reconnect to the hotspot and enter the password. It should connect, even on 5GHz.

Now, I changed my hotspot name from the default name after I had reset all my network settings and had the same issue again (only connecting to 2.4GHz with a password already set and not 5Ghz).
I repeated the steps above, and my laptop connected fine.

I never had this issue before on the S23U, so I'm unsure what's going on.

The devices you're trying to connect with, are they WiFi 6 compatible?

Yep, when I do my work around, it shows on windows it's using WiFi 6 protocols for connection

Turn off Intelligent Wifi. That should solve the problem.

I keep that in mind if I change the hotspot name, but at the moment, because nothing has changed, I'm still getting a Wi-Fi 6 protocol connection.

jakie częstotliwości HOTSPOT obsługuje s24 ultra?  2.4ghz 5 ghz i performance 6 ghz?  nigdzie nie ma info a serwis nic nie wie niech ktoś wejdzie w opcje telefonu i zobaczy

I had the same issue again this week, had to switch to 2.4 Ghz before laptop 💻 would connect 😑 (friend laptop that also has wifi 6e could not connect to my hotspot when 5 Ghz was active at first)
