S24 ultra hasn't got the one UI 8 update, why?

I live in the UK, and have a S24 ultra, a few days ago, the longly anticipated by me One Ui 8 rolled out for the s24 ultra in Europe, UK included. But my phone hasn't got the update. And im not sure its even updated to the newest one ui 7 update, but it doesnt give me the option to update it. What can I do?

Oh right.. but my phone comes from Carphone warehouse and my sim is from three 😂 so how does that work??

How was the phone bought from cpw? As brand new or refurbished/returned/reconditioned

Bought it from amazon as refurbished

You can try O2 sim and see if it picks up the update. If not only manual update using Odin remains. How it's done is out of scope for these forums

Give it a few days or weeks. As updates are usually rolled out in batches. That's all i can say really.

I'm confused here. You said you bought your phone from Carphone Warehouse, however you also stated it was refurbished from Amazon. So which is it?

I dont know lol, i bought it from amazon refurbished but my software version shows carphone warehouse

It's both then. But it simply means the previous owner bought it from there with 02 as it's carrier. In this case, you might try get an O2 SIM and try update your phone when it registers to the network. This might allow the updates on your phone.
