S24 Ultra Front camera

I've just received my S24 Ultra and bit disappointed with the front camera pic quality.

I've just upgraded from my very reliable S20 Ultra and noticed a big difference in the front camera picture when I take a selfie.

On the S20 the pic is just as it is on the display before clicking, but with the S24 Ultra the pic looks fine on the display but after I take the pic half my face looks warped, like I've suffered a stroke or something.

Please tell me if there is a fix for this as looking to return it now, not worth the money if front camera is not working right.

I've tried a few other camera apps and most did the same using the front camera so cant be software.

Any help would be appreciated

When on the selfie cam, top right there's 2 stacked squares....is there any off these filters on?

I am disappointed from all the camera,
After jumping from s21 ultra i expected huge improvement but in reality ***** quality photo from s24 u
200 photo looks soo bright and unnatural

I just got my s24 Ultra a few days ago and am definitely not liking the front camera!!  The rear camera is great but the front camera is so much worse that I am thinking of returning it and keeping my S22 ultra.  Somehow the front camera on that one always makes me look great...better than I do in real life!  The S24 seems to add contrast and brassiness or something.  The S22 is much clearer and softer.   I've been trying to figure out of there is some kind of setting or app that is making the S22 do that but it seems to be automatic.  So I guess I am stuck with that one lol.

Same here, just got the S24 ultra.. upgraded from S21 ultra, cam on the older phone especially the front one is waaay better than the s24. What a downer.

Samsung, please fix the S24U front camera issues. I'm already in regrets.

I have issues with front camera in both portrait and photo mode. All filters off but in low light it will still automatically put an AI filter on it. Just on the face chest normal. I don't want it filtered! If you then select night mode for more light you will get the most overexposed awful photo. I'm not happy at all.

I am also unhappy with the front camera. I compared this with my s22 ultra and even note 20. Samsung please fix this 😞

Samsung plz fix the camera issue, it's showing my face too much large with a long chin.

Thought it was only me. I even thought I got uglier, fatter, aging bad and all. Haha I was considering going to a surgeon for a face lift. Dmn it affected my self- esteem as I remember S series has great front camera as well. After S22 I switched to Fold and flip series and front cam were great. This year bought this S24 cause of the front cam, and yet I'm disappointed. Really bad front cam.
