S24 ultra first thoughts

So I'm loving my s24 ultra and I do think it's a decent upgrade over the s23 ultra but not essential. To me personally the screen is alot better than the s23 ultra but that's just for me. I will say there is a notable difference with colour tone and in certain situations the screen can appear different a bit more natural but for me I really like it. The build feels more premium this time as well with the titanium. Can't comment much on batter and camera yet but all appears good. It has become a bit iphoney but not in a bad why the main thing is the new always on display you can see your wallpaper now and it's just generally a bit nicer. Have you had a play with the AI Enhancements yet ?

I'm seriously thinking of pulling the trigger but that's because I like to treat myself to new Samsung phone's as the innovation Samsung offer is second to none.

I love the shape of the screen, having problems with the screen protector and fingerprint reader, I've enhanced the sensitivity but doesn't make much difference, I've tried the photo search thingy, pretty cool, just had it a few hours but quite pleased overall, got it in titanium grey looks the biz👍

The flat screen is alot better the phone is cleaner if that makes sense. Not done much AI done a bit of circle to search and notes tidying and it works really well. Like I said it's not an essential upgrade but I will say you won't be left disappointed if you do go for it. The biggest thing for me is the ultra premium feel and that screen

So far so good!!!!

So I'm on day 3 with my S24 Ultra (512gb Violet).

Build - more premium and shows it. The titanium is a definite improvement. It feels nice in the hand.

Battery - it is still in learning phase but on medium use for me 2 days is achievable. For heavy use (for me 10 hours of video plus occasional other screen time) a full day (24 hours) just about.

Charging - same as S23 Ultra. Fast (about an hour from 0 to 100%).

Screen - more natural yes and I find it clearer and easier to read text. Colours are fine, all be it maybe not as saturated.

Screen - brightness is simply unbelievable. Very bright.
Screen - imagery very good and sharp.

Sound - similar to S23 Ultra, clear and sharp. Benefits from 2 speakers.

Cameras - jury out at the moment. Overall similar to S23 Ultra but I'm not yet convinced the zoom is as good. I really need to learn more about the AI improvements. This will take time lol.

Data Transfer - from S23 Ultra via smart switch. Almost seemless..I did have to sign into most apps again.

Google Wallet - critical for me. Had to reset my cards but the process was seemless.

Vegan case - waste of time and money. Had I paid for it, it would have gone back.

Screen Protectors - glad there were 2. One to practice and make a dog's dinner of, second one to install ok(ish).

SGWatch 6 - pretty easy to set up and link to device.. Some settings challenges but fairly quickly resolved.

Promotions - Disney+. Not clear from Samsung that instead of going via Boost, buyers of S24 Series need to go via Samsung Wallet. Could have been clearer. Process straight forward enough though.
YouTube Premium - not available in Samsung Wallet and Boost not recognising new device so cannot use.
£30 Galaxy Store voucher - easy enough to find and add to account but as I don't do gaming, not sure I'll ever use it.

Lots to learn. Was it worth the upgrade from S23 Ultra? It was probably an indulgence rather than an upgrade but happy enough that I did (oh and that @AshS23Ultra also became an S24 Ultra fail lol - had to be done!).
