S24 Ultra data/wifi/BT turning off on USB disconnect

Ever since I updated to 1 August 2024 release, whenever I disconnect from USB (be it car/van, charger, laptop), the wifi/mobile data/BT all turn off, and I have to manually enable via quick menu.

Anyone know if I've inadvertently enabled a setting (that I can't find anywhere), or another fix for this?

Have cleared cache, and in safe mode it doesn't do this, so thinking it must be a software issue.

No known changes were made to device, other than software update, from when it didn't do this 2 days ago.

Should also note that connecting to usb again will enable the data services again automatically

Hi,

If not occurring in Safe Mode, then may be a 3rd party app or customisation. Unfortunately, you'll have to determine which one. Uninstall them all if you have too.

That's a process I'd really like to avoid. Far too many apps to work through, and none installed in the last 2 weeks. 😩

Do you have USB Tethering turned on???

All tethering disabled. Only enable hotspot when needed and don't use the others

******* SOLVED!!!! ********
Turns out it was the "save battery at night" routine, when sleeping (detected by watch or phone if not wearing watch), and not charging, all data services are set to turn off.
Not had watch on in about a week tbh, so seems since update phone thinks I'm always sleeping 🤷🏻
So, so glad I don't have to go through a laborious diagnosis session!!!
