S24 ultra data/signal issues

I don't know if anyone else has been having these issues. But if I'm travelling and driving from one place to another my data ends up going from 4G to 2G mode. And it doesn't come back to 4G even when I'm in a good signal area. Even after turning data off and on it stays the same. You have to reboot the phone to fix this issue.

The signal strength is also very low most of the time. Not sure if it's a phone issue or sim. I used the same sim in another phone and never had any issues.....

Please let me know if you have any ideas.

Please install the latest software update which is now out and let me know if you think the issue is now resolved?

It works better than it did - I at least get occasional 4G LTE. However, it still drops to 2G or no data several times per day. It is beyond frustrating while driving when I need GPS. This issue has even caused me to miss important, urgent calls as recently as today, because I thought the issue was fixed and I ended up not paying attention to if I had to do the Airplane mode trick every 15-30 minutes like I have been.

Right...since the update came out I've been testing my phone. I think it's definitely gotten better. I've not had to use the airplane mode at all. Don't get me wrong signal strength and internet speed is still not great but I think the original issue has gone away. Can you restart your phones and try again?

I have restarted my phone about three times now since the update. I'm having issues now with WiFi as well. At times, the WiFi shows full strength but doesn't actually work. I try to turn it off and switch to mobile data and that is completely out. I try the airplane mode method and it doesn't work at that point, so I end up restarting the device. 

 

It's better but worse.

I've restarted a few times and it hasn't helped. I've had some issues with wifi now too

I found a fix that works well.

I returned the s24u and got a Fold 5. Now I have full signal and no screen, camera or freezing issues 😂

On my S24 Ultra if I have Network Mode in 5G/4G/3G/2G mode then I lose both data and network connection very quickly. If I change it to 4G/3G/2G then I keep the connection. I've had the latest update today and is no better, I've reset network settings with no luck. It's really annoying as I have a really good 5G signal at home and at work yet I can't use it!

Surely there must be a solution to the problem?
