Hi
I don't know if anyone else has been having these issues. But if I'm travelling and driving from one place to another my data ends up going from 4G to 2G mode. And it doesn't come back to 4G even when I'm in a good signal area. Even after turning data off and on it stays the same. You have to reboot the phone to fix this issue.

The signal strength is also very low most of the time. Not sure if it's a phone issue or sim. I used the same sim in another phone and never had any issues.....

Please let me know if you have any ideas.

Thanks

My issue solved itself via software updates. I did notice though where I live phone struggles compared to other areas. Most of the time I get 1 or 2 bars sometimes even 0. But if you go in other areas I get full signal with 5g. Not sure if it's a phone issue or not but I decided to keep it and not send it back for repairs after testing it in other areas and abroad on holiday where I also got good signal.

Having the same issue. At home S24U has weak to no reception/signal. Use my 7 yo phone same place max. signal strength as it was in the last 7 years. Other SIM 2nd service provider same thing. Hard reset was no help only hours of work.

Also issues with compass: North is anywhere but NOT north.

Battery safety 'basic': charge to 100% then go down to 95% then charge again to 100% and so on. Does NOT work. Keeps charging continously 100%

GPS: GLONASS sattelites disappears after a view seconds. Restart the app. Again see GLONASS for a few seconds and then it disappears.

I've had this issue since day 1. Figured I'd wait to see if an update fixed it.... no joy.

It did actually get better for a while, I think I went about 3 weeks without it happening. Now it's back again!

Every time I disconnect from WiFi, it sits on E until I toggle flight mode on/off. I then get solid 4G in the same spot.

It's the same SIM as I had on my old phone (Pixel 6 Pro). Everyone said the modem on that was rubbish, so I expected better signal from the S24U. Nope. Even when connected it's worse than my wife's Pixel 6 Pro (same network).

Hi all, I'm having problems with my new S24 Ultra. Some people are saying they can't hear me when I have full bars in areas I've never had issues with my S23. Do you know if Samsung is aware and working on a fix?

I got the s24 plus last week here in Australia just to find out it hasn't got the Snapdragon 8 gen 3 for which I am super annoyed with Samsung, and now this bloody phone is giving me between 1 and 2 bars of LTE, this is just bullshit Samsung

EDIT: I solved the issue, now I got full bars!!!!!!!!!!!

what I did is unselect "select automatically" then select the carrier you are with, then again in mobile networks, disconnect from the current carrier (Kogan) and try to connect this time to Tesltra for example, or anyother that appears. Once the phone told me i cannot connect to Telstra, in Netowrk operators, selected "Select automatically", boom!!! all bars!!!

PD, dont worry it takes a while to disconnect and connect again, that's normal

This has happened since I upgraded from the s22 Ultra to the S24 Ultra but it was random. It is happening every day now. It never happened to my S22 and I am using it in the same place. I'll open my phone and it will say 'Searching'. I restart my phone )I will use airplane mode now after reading thru this thread. The bad part is I am missing important texts when it goes to searching. We need a fix Samsung please.
