Just upgraded to the S24 Ultra and I'm having issues with the Bluetooth connection. I paired it with my car (my previous S21 had no issues) and it won't play any audio. It connects for calls and texts but I can't get any apps to play through the car - maps, Spotify, kids app, nothing. I've tried resetting, clearing cache, unpairing and pairing again, nothing is working. I have a long driving trip in 2 days and I need this fixed ASAP!!

Hi @Kacey1022

This might be stating the obvious, but you did not mention it.

Do you need to select BT media input for audio devices? The phone usually connects to text and call automatically, but the media won't come out unless you select the right media input.

Your car might do all of that automatically, but mine if I change to radio, I need to select the BT device again.

if using Android Auto, then Android Auto controls everything and media play happens automatically. Have you tried Android Auto?

Hi all. I recedly got an S24 Ultra my self and i am also facing problems with the bluetooth connectivity. The phone connects normaly to the car, but while on a phone call, i can listen to the other person loud and clearl, but when i reply back, what the person i am talking to gets, is a voice that cannot understand what it is saying.  I tried with my old S22 Ultra, no problem, everything works perfect. I used another S24 Ultra of a friend of mine, same problem like my S24 Ultra. I tried every possible setting on the phone, still nothing. It seems like a problem with the phone's software, any possible help will be much appreciated it. Thank you.

Hi guys... Kind of similar problem, but however this looks like it migt be a problem when I have 2 BT connections to Audio devices enabled.

Let me try to explain.. I have a set og Samsung Buds Pro 2 that I frequently use to my phone.. Nothing special about this, but when the connection to the buds are interupted by (f.eks) my Car, and the sound should be moved, then all devices are mute. Disabling devices and/or bluetooth is useless. The sound is completly gone. Also from the internal speakers.. The only thing that seems to work, is rebooting the phone.. Then the sound gets back.

For me, this doesn't have to be that Im in a call, could be that im streaming Spotify, youtube etc.. As long as a second device that are connected hits, all sounds gone..  Just disappeared..  Im hoping for a bug and that this is not a feature :face-with-tears-of-joy:

Anybody else having the same problem?

I have a similar issue, but I can resolve it by restarting my phone, which I hate doing.

This is a legit issue. I was putting off the software update ever since I bought this phone a few months ago, and everything was fine. Two weeks ago I accidently hit the update button on the annoying pop up, and now I can't drive in peace. Bluetooth will either connect for calls OR for media, but never both.

My S24 Ultra is doing the exact same thing. Says that it is connected but no sound. And yes, I have it connected to BT. It is even doing it with my ear buds.  None of this was happening until the last upgrade I received. I did restart my phone, and it seems to be working for now.
