Hi I noticed a cloudy line at the bottom of my S24 Ultra when I clean the screen it disappears for few seconds but reappears. I'm wondering if anyone else noticed it. I pre ordered the phone and received it on 25th Jan direct from Samsung.

Hard to discern what has caused this.
Not something I have seen reported before. Some sort of surface scratching or something reacted with the coating on the screen

Very unusual. Have you thought of putting a glass screen protector on? It might eliminate it.

Hi I'm going to take it Samsung shop next week so one of their experts can have a look it should be covered under warranty was pre ordered and delivered on 25 th January so just over two months old. I have not got the screen protector on but should not have to if the screen is faulty a screen protector not going to solve the issue.

Hi have you used a screen protector on the phone at all? It could possibly be a stain from the protector have you tried cleaning with an alcohol wipe. Also possibly could be the anti glare coating. I'd personally take it to a samsung store for them to inspect. That is definitely not normal

I never used screen protector on it when I clean it with micro fibre cloth it disappears for few seconds but reappears I only noticed it from last week and haven't done anything different since I bought it so not sure what it is

I went to Samsung experience store in Liverpool One a 37 mile trip
To be told that it's WEAR AND TEAR oleophobic coating has come of and warranty doesn't cover it!
A £1350 two months old phone wear and tear are Samsung having a laugh?
I will appreciate any information as how I get my phone replaced because I'm not satisfied with outcome Also the manager at the store is an arrogant scruffy person the assistants were better dressed than him I actually thought he was a cleaner!

Just to add it does look like Samsung experience and Samsung have scam going on the manager actually said to me you bought the phone from Samsung go back to them or give them a call on 03330000333 which I did but he knew what the answer going to be he was that confident so an obvious scam shop refuses and Samsung don't overrule the so called tech guy!

Same thing happened to me after the first 3 days of having the phone but with the AT&T store.  The galaxy s24 ultra has the worst screen on any phone I have ever had sadly and I've owned nothing but galaxy.  None of my phone screens have smudged like this one. I also noticed light spots within the first 3 days of owning my phone.  Lastly, it has been impossible to clean since I had it out of the box.  Shame on Samsung for this!
