S24 Ultra Bad camera quality and other issues

The camera quality is bad, especially noticed when comparing with a year old iphone or other current gen phones.

Photos are washed out, have some noise and are blurry which is immediately noticed once zoomed a bit in the photo. And this is for both daylight and night photos.

The lower gesture bar portion need to have more height because the side swipe gestures to change between apps aren't triggered when using any case that has slightly raised edges on bottom of the phone. It really requires user to dig finger at the most bottom side of the screen to switch them.

The battery life is around mediocre, definitely expected much better battery life from the newest gen phone. Reviewers are still not objective enough when testing the phones.

I waited more than 5 years to upgrade from my Note 10+ and expected much more. Definitely got a better screen and overall performance, but the aspects above mentioned ruin the experience of such an expensive phone.

The photos are absolute c**p, my s22 ultra took better photos. Regretting upgrading to this one.

I totally agree, event updated it doesn't work.. I really dissapointed, when I compare with potrait result from my galaxy s 20, it is more bright and sharp and the color tone more contrast.. and event compare with real color of the object, the color tone is lower, and slightly blur, the result seems be beautified by filter.. i don't know, just not satisfied of using camera

I feel conned. My s20+ was amazing, never had an issue with image quality. Never had a good picture with s24. I lost the my money

Hi, what is it you actually dislike about the phone, camera performance, colour of the display ( washedout colours ), battery performance? Because there were a few fixes issued in a few updates.

Nothing was fixed actually. screen colors are weird no matter the configuration, camera it shite. nothing was fixed. I dont care for a phone that has 2 days battery life and everything around it is horrible. It is july and still no fix for the camera. Horrible company. Last samscam I'll own.

The washed out colours screen was fixed with an update, enhanced colours option added.
The camera option was fixed & I read somewhere they will release an even better update for the camera, I don't have any issues with my s24 ultra, I usually do a factory reset when I'm having issues, I know it's time consuming but it usually fixes any issue I have, give it a try, don't put any apps in sleep mode, don't backup your device reset it from fresh without the smart switch backup & let it learn from your usage as I did give it a few weeks to a month then see how things are.

No no, you dont get it. Money is not a problem here, trust in samsung is, so I did what I said.

I got a Pixel 8 as I said a month ago and without any needed configuration, the colors are much more pleasing to the eye, in the right tone and color. nothing is weird that I need to tune up or wait 3 months for them to add it because they screw up everything and putting out stuff like they didnt even put it through QA.

I took the same pictures on both of the phones and the results could not be more far from another in terms of blur and grain. Let alone Post Processing which is a photo murderer in the S24 if you took it with a little bit of zoom, Everything said in (trusted) reviews and comments about both phones is true. 

The only things I love about the (now listed for sale) S24 is the design and battery life; But if I get a more complete package with the Pixel with an hour less of SOT, who gives a *****? Samsung lost me as a customer. I just went ahead a few days ago and bought 77" LG and when the guy told me about the Samsung ones I said "Ohhhh no no no, not this time", and when he asked me why, surprised, I put out my S24 and showed him a few pictures from my sister's graduation, he looked at me like that 😮 and told me "dude your phone must be fake, there's no way Samsung produces these images". Well, as me and others keep complaining here, the S24 is a useless camera phone. 

I wonder why the iPhones cameras keep getting better and better, same for the pixels, only Samsung goes down hill since the S22 with no fix available for HALF A YEAR since the phone came out. I am DONE with Samsung. Never felt happier to get rid of something. As I said, I have been scammed by them and they showed everyone they do not care for them, being so irresponsible putting out phones worth $1000-$1200 and then telling us to wait for MONTHS for a "fix". No, hahaha, no! When I spend so much money on something it better work right, and right when I get it. I am not their QA, not their beta tester, and most definitely not their useful ***** who, like their fan boys on reddit, gatekeep for them, They lost me and everyone I will ever speak to about electronics. Fool me once brother...

Yes man i have 24 ultra and camera is absolute joke , even my iphone 13 was taking better photos. There is no way to buy any Samsung product again in my life.
