I'm having some issues using apps while connected on wifi.

It looks like some times apps won't connect on internet through wifi,  they connect very well via data connection but not via wifi.  I have verified this on different wifi networks and providers,  just to be sure it is not my router.

Is any solution for that?

It is very annoying thinking you spent a lot of money just get troubles

Thank you in advance

Aldi

It is just a bad phone.  Pretending to resolve problems by disabling this and disabling that on a smartphone that costs +- 1500euro is just cheating your self.

We have just paid our disappointment.

Never a SAMSUNG device anymore

@AldiSh

I agree it can be frustrating when a function does not work as intended.

Sometimes checking the apps permissions can help along with any restrictions that may have been imposed vja another app.

This is why Safe Mode can help.

> Safe Mode  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/ turns off downloaded apps and themes etc which may highlight an app or theme that's causing conflict.

Which apps are not connecting 🤔

Are you able to view Internet pages via Wi-Fi

Another troubleshooting step is > Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files. There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too.

If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate to ask.  😎

Hi @AldiSh

I have mine connected to one 5gHz Wifi network and have not experienced this.

Which apps are you having problems with?

Is this happening with all Apps?

Did you try @BandOfBrothers suggestions? Clearing cache can solve some glitches.

That definitely worked.  Logged into my router and disabled 5ghz and everything works now on 2.4ghz.  Thanks for the insight.

I have this same issue. Some apps are very slow to load data via wifi, if at all. Some apps affected are: BBC News, Bereal, Lemmings.

Can you select 2.4ghz from the phone rather than the router?

Hey! I'm not sure if its the same issue, but this might help. Today, on my S21+, I wasn't able to open some apps with my home Wifi, only using mobile data, the apps wouldn't pass the logo screen. I tried everything on the phone and eventually contacted my service provider. Turns out it was a problem with the network cache (it had about 8Tb of data). They did a remote reset and cleared the cache, and everything started working just fine. Hope this helps.
