S24 ultra apps won't connect through wifi

I'm having some issues using apps while connected on wifi.  

It looks like some times apps won't connect on internet through wifi,  they connect very well via data connection but not via wifi.  I have verified this on different wifi networks and providers,  just to be sure it is not my router. 

Is any solution for that?

It is very annoying thinking you spent a lot of money just get troubles

I am very frustrated with the purchase of s24 ultra, facing the same issue. Some app does not connect to internet via wifi sometimes. It is very frustrating. When I switch to cellular network all works fine. At the same time I never had issue like this on my iPhone with any app. 

Please resolve this problem Samsung

Now I am able to resolve this issue.

The issue was with dns configured in xfinity modem router by Xfinity ISP. I have updated it to Google dns 8.8.8.8

This 100% resolved my issue. Earlier some apps trying to connect domain which might not exist on xfinity dns server.

It is just a bad phone.  Pretending to resolve problems by disabling this and disabling that on a smartphone that costs +- 1500euro is just cheating your self. 

We have just paid our disappointment. 

Never a SAMSUNG device anymore

No, I got another phone with same app, it works fine. S24 is far more expensive than the other one. This is wifi driver in system bug, actually you can fix it by resetting the wifi or clearing the cache or something like that. but this bug occurs repeatedly

But 2.4GHz is slower than 5GHz.

I have the same issue. Basic applications like Google Drive, OneDrive, Flightradar, or the Tmt smart home app don't work on 5GHz WiFi, but they do on 2.4GHz. However, my previous phone, the Note 10+, works perfectly fine on 5GHz WiFi in the same location, as does my wife's phone, laptops, and everything else. Interestingly, the browser works perfectly fine, and I can browse, but many apps don't load.

I've got the same problem.

A lot of Apps don't load on a 5Hz wifi network. Everything works fine when I'm off Wifi. 

The only real solution (for the moment) is to empty the cache when the phone is in safe mode (You have to connect it to a pc). Then it will work again for a certain time. So this is definitely a software bug and should be adressed by samsun.

Enabling WPA3 on my router seemed to fix this. Seems like a software problem on the S24 relating to WPA2.

I brought the s24 ultra on 7th August 2024.  I am having this issue. I resolved it temporarily by disabling ipv6 in the router (as mentioned by someone in the forum). Samsung please this.?
