Sorry to hear of your issues. In this reply I'm assuming you are in the UK and bought your device from a UK retailer (not Amazon or eBay).
If your device is brand new and you are inside your cooling off period, I would go back to your retailer and request a replacement (if you're inside your cooling off period, don't be fobbed off with an offer of a repair).
If you are outside of your cooling off period (typically 14 days from date of receipt of device) then go back to your retailer and request a repair. (Some retailers may offer a replacement but they are under no requirement to do so, it would only be their goodwill).
