Anyone else noticed that you find yourself tapping an icon or button multiple times to get it to do something? I never experienced that in the last 2 years on my Pixel 6 but in the 3 days of having my S24 it feels like at least 20 times I've found myself thinking "I've pressed you, and again, and again, do something".

I noticed on Flossy Carter's review video he seemed to have the same thing once or twice but never commented on it.

With Flossy he is trying to get in as much as he can flr the video so can rush things somewhat, however I am a massive fan of his.
I'm not finding this on my phone to be honest.
Can you try > Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files. There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too.
It may help.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

You will notice on Flossy's video. He had a magsafe case on it that affected the screen response. If you have one of these, try it without the case on

He was, but there's been quite a few comments on chats about screen responses being affected by the Magsafe cases. Not just with S Pens.
Not everyone seems to have the issues strangely. So could be particular manufacturers that have this problem

I don't have a magsafe (or anything similar). I'm pretty much getting used to it now though. I'm adjusting how I press/tap and it's becoming more normal.

I can see from that solution that you're thinking I'm suffering from lag or stutters. For me it was more a case of the phone not acknowledging the press/tap as being long enough to trigger whatever action was associated with the position I tapped. I'm adjusting my actions to account for it and I'm almost at perfect interactivity level now 😁

It has to be a mag safe holder unless you clamp it.
