So I have the exynos version and WiFi disappeared. As I was using 5g, could not see any pictures in the Google feed at all. Closed apps etc aswell as cleaning memory and no change. Got WiFi back on and Google feed was absolutely fine. This exynos chip will be causing problems I think moving forward so may just change to the ultra with 8gen3 for piece of mind. Shame really as I prefer the plus shape and will never use the spen. Better get in before the double your storage deal ends.

Well, I re-read my post. I never said all exynos phones. You added the all, not me. I also used "seem to have". I was not declaring an absolute truth.

I got the S22 Ultra and it has had WiFi connectivity problems as well as 4G and 5G.

I have no reason to believe that @Piper123 lied about S21 Ultra. I have heard loads of complaints regarding these issue. Dropping calls, losing connection whilst on WhatsApp call, etc. Most of these complaints were Exynos phones, our friends over the Atlantic did have the same issues. Again, I am not talking about All phones. I was only interested on Note and now S Ultra.

I had the S23+ with Snapdragon Gen 2 and it was amazing. If you are looking to return the S24+ , I highly recommend the S23+ unless you can go for the S24Ultra.

I assume that like you, there were other users who were very happy with the S22 Ultra. However, you are here a lot and I am sure you remember several complaints regarding this issue in this very community forum when the S22 was launched.

We all speak from personal experience, which cannot be the same for everybody.

Indistinctively of the issues that could have been caused by exynos or not. Exynos flagship has consistently underperform against its Snapdragon counterpart for a few years in a row.

It is not mystery that the S23 series did considerably better than the S22.

I'd never get the S23 + without a quad hd screen especially after owning an S23 regular which was just too small. But am now looking at the ultra. I need to get this right before I can't exchange it anymore. Also only have till the 30th before the double your storage deal ends

Personally, the S23+ was good for me. If that is not an option for you, I would def go for the S24Ultra. Especially as it has Snapdragon.

Think I'll go for the S23 ultra. I really hate the speaker slit/grill on the S24 plus and ultra models. Someone has already complained on members how rubbish the S24 ultra speakers sound compared to the S23 ultra. Also, the titanium scratches easily in a video I watched and the guy pointed out how he was losing signal in places the S23 ultra never lost. I really think the S23 is the better choice having come from an S23 regular which I really enjoyed but was just too small.

I guess different users will have different experiences positive or negative. I love the S24Ultra, a friend hated it! Enjoy whatever you end up getting 😊

Update..

I've restarted my phone and everything is working as it should on 5g. Really not sure as to why it did what it did and would never have expected to be restarting a brand new phone after two days of owning for glitches. I really prefer the design of the plus over the ultra and didn't want to change but still am sceptical about the exynos chip moving forward and still think they could've done a better more sensible job on the stupid design of the speaker slit/grill which sounds muffled to me because I believe it's too small.

I've actually experienced worse WiFi connection issues with my SD devices over my Exynos devices. My S23 Ultra, Tab S7+ and Tab S8 Ultra all tend to have weaker WiFi connection than either my S21 Ultra and Note 10+ 5G devices (both Exynos).

@facu1ty I found your experience really interesting. According to this S24 series brings unexpected audio upgrade of course one has to take any article on sammobile with a pinch of salt.

I saw a video about this, and I thought the S24 speaker were louder, but it is hard to appreciate colour tones and audio on videos because it will be affected by the quality of the connection and the screen and speakers used to watch it.

I have the S22 Ultra and ordered the S24 Ultra. I will see how they sound when compare to each other.
