So I just got my S24 Ultra and the ONLY issue that I have is all my notifications for my different apps sound the same. My old phone (S22 Ultra) all had a different notification sound for them, for example, Facebook notifications and Messenger, Snapchat had their own sound directly from the app now it's just one sound. I want to know when it's a Snap or FB without me having to set a sound when they already have that built into the app. I see everyone changing it on their own but I want to know why they took that away when you go into the apps and see that their individual sounds are still there....I KNOW HOW TO CHANGE THE SOUNDS. That is not my question, my question is the other Galaxies came with the original sound already set to FB and Snap. And now it's not on the S24.

No it doesn't work. When you uninstall the app and reinstall it, it uses the most recent known settings. I think the only thing that really works is to reset the phone to factory settings.
In that case I will settle for using a different sound as notification

Did you see my post? Settings>Notifications>App Notifications >pick an app>Notification Categories. Click on each one and you can change the notification sound. Overkill in my opinion as some apps have so many categories.

Dit you see the initial question?!?
This doesn't work for those apps that come with their own notification sound. As soon as that sound is for some reason set to "Default Skyline", you cannot get it back to the notification sound that came with the app.

You can click further into the notification type. For instance: snapchat>notifications>notification categories>quite notifications. Quite notifications will have its own page with the ability to change the sound. This will work for all notification categories.

Right? Some people are just so rude. I took what she was saying exactly as you did and you helped me. Thanks.

Yes. To.me and many others. There was really no need for her to be rude. The person was just trying to help. Manners cost nothing.
