S24 ultra photos distorted when sharing to Instagram

My photos are coming out terrible quality when sharing to instagram, especially when zooming in its really pixilated and just awful. Also when I view the photo in the gallery it's bad quality at the normal size but corrects itself if I pinch to zoom in a little bit. In the actual camera app itself there is no distortion. Spoke to a live Samsung technician who was no help. I'm also experiencing the same display issues as everyone else. Beyond miffed after paying 1300 quid! 😤

I think I've seen a YT video about this. Unfortunately i think it's down to Samsung not been optimized for the app unlike apple

Just spoke to a samsung technician on the phone who said to a factory reset. Which I'll do later see if it resolves the issue, not in the mood to do it now 😂. While on the phone I discussed the issue re vivid mode being no different to natural and got the same response that it was intentional by Samsung. Why have the two different modes then 🤔

Yeah my ancient sonys cameras produce better results than this 200mp (not sure about that?) camera. I'm sure the hardware could do alot better than these results (not THAT sure actually)

Using "open camera" gives me better results and that's capped to like 12mp or something. I will contact them to optimise their app for the s24 ultra

It's so bad. Samsung have really dropped the ball with this one. Really wish I'd have got the S23

I sent mine back for replacement as they admit is a fault with mine. Hopefully the replacement will be better or will go back and away from S24 Ultra
