S24 custom notifications - help needed!

I recently bought the S24 and now I cannot assign notification sounds to specific apps. I want to differentiate notifications by sound and this phone doesn't seem to allow for this.  I did toggle to allow the advanced notification setting for "Manage notification categories for each app" but that didn't fix the problem.  When I click on the App and then Notifications, it just allows for sound to be on or Silent. No option to customize the app's ringtone. What happened to this ability?

When I follow this pathway, after I choose the app, there is no option for "notification categories".  All I can select is Allow notifications

Alerts: Allow sound and vibration or Silent

Notification Types: Lock screen , Badge, Pop up

You'll need to enable the notification catagories first. To do this goto settings>notifications >advanced settings. Toggle on 'Manage notification catagories for each app'. Now, when you follow the pathway as before, you'll see the 'notification categories' option.

When I go into an apps notifications sound. When I open up that it asks me to complete action using either SecSoundPicker or Zedge. It does not show or offer the sounds that are in the phone. So I still cannot change the sounds for each app to the loaded phone sounds.
