S22 Ultra - do I upgrade?

Love my S22 Ultra but do I upgrade now to the S24 Ultra?

Amy advice or opinions welcome......

This question is really only down to you if you really think you need to upgrade. I have stuck with the s23 ultra this time. For me I've come to realise I don't need to upgrade every year. Now if I owned the s22 ultra I probably would consider the s24 ultra. If you happy with your s22 ultra and still does the job for you, then possibly wait till next year. If you really need the latest features, better processor, most likely better battery. Then go for it.

I've bitten the bullet, was in the same situation, I'm now in the process of changing all over, got the titanium grey one, good looking phone, feels solid, you know the scenario, once uploaded all looks the same, camera obviously better, gonna be faster, not had a real go of it yet, trade your 22 in and get the 24, 2yrs is enough of a gap. Couldn't fault my 22, but just did it. 😉

I decided to get the S24U just to get rid of Exynos 2200, but £370 was not enough incentive to exchange my S22U. I will give it away to a family member or something.

It also gives me the freedom to return the S24U if there is a problem. I will not be left without a phone, once they get your old phone, it is impossible to recover it if you change your mind.

Yea I was tempted to give away, but my partner is happy with her S10, and didn't want it... otherwise I would've kept.

Saying what I already said, I do not think I will "pre-order" ever again. It is not worth the hassle. The phone will arrive on the 9th so far, it might be pushed back even further. Samsung lack of customer service does not help either and adding the rewards to the order is nothing short of painful. In addition, one gets all the bugs and kinks.

This lack of professionalism, planning and awful customer support are constants. It happens every year.

If you wish to upgrade, you might well wait for the next wave of offers in the summer or later on in the year. The S23 had excellent deals not that long ago.

Samsung never sent me the £50 voucher for registering for the release event, which included a case and screen protector. They are having a £100 voucher now. Benefits of pre-order are not great.

User choice of course.

I went from S21 Ultra to S23 Ultra and there was a huge difference.

I have now gone to S24 Ultra and there are improvements but now massive.

You'll see a big difference between S22 Ultra and S24 Ultra.

To be honest I wouldn't unless your battery is failing I have an S23 Ultra and although it's good it does have it faults and I can't see a huge difference between the s23 ultra and my previous S20 plus
