Dear Samsung Support Team,
I would like to report a persistent issue and make a feature request related to the S Pen Translate feature in One UI 6.0 and 7.0.
Although I selected Google Translate as the default provider in settings, the S Pen Translate feature still uses Samsung Translate by default. This bug appeared in One UI 6.0 and unfortunately is still present in One UI 7.0, which I updated to today. I had high hopes it would be fixed, but the issue remains.
This is very frustrating, especially because Ukrainian is not available in Samsung Translate. I cannot use Ukrainian in S Pen Translate at all.
Please:
Fix the bug so that Google Translate works correctly as the default in S Pen Translate.
Add Ukrainian to the list of offline language packs in Samsung Translate.
Thank you for your attention. I really hope this will be resolved soon, as it affects many Ukrainian-speaking users.
Best regards,
Dmytro Kovalchuk

So let me get this straight — in 2025, Samsung’s top-tier Galaxy AI supports Russian, but not Ukrainian?
The same Russian that’s actively used in wartime propaganda and banned in parts of Europe? Meanwhile, Ukrainian — the official language of an EU-associated country with over 40 million speakers — is excluded?
Google Pixel supports Ukrainian in Live Translate. Apple added full Ukrainian localization in iOS. Xiaomi already offers Ukrainian UI across devices. Why is Samsung behind everyone?
Don't tell us this is “planned for the future.” We've heard that copy-paste line for a year. Ukrainian users pay the same for flagship phones — why are we treated like second-class customers?
Also, you leave Russian as a default translation language in apps like S Pen Translate — are you seriously expecting Ukrainian users to use Russian? Are you even reading the room?
Fix this. Add Ukrainian. Drop the empty PR lines.
