Recent Update made my SIM card "not allowed"

The recent update Version:S926U1UEU4BYD9 April 1, 2025 SUCKS. Immediately after the reboot I get the error "MM SIM 1 not allowed"

And apparently, there's no way to revert it. So my phone is bricked. Can someone more knowledgeable tell me how to remove this update. I am ready to throw it out the window and smash every Samsung device I have.

I've been on the phone with support, they were no help.

I've reset to factory settings.

My carrier says nothing is wrong with my account and the sim card worked perfectly right before this update.

At this point the phone is useless to me so I don't care if I have to root it to get rid of this shitty update, but I'd like to try something else first...that I haven't already tried.

Your currently on a UK forum. You might be better off reaching out to the US samsung forum. You can try taking your phone into a local samsung store for them to inspect your device.

I'm American, but I'm currently in Medellin Colombia. This phone isn't even available in this country so I can't just stroll into a local Samsung store, it's not a thing.. And why does it matter what forum I'm in? Did the UK Samsungs not get the latest One UI 7.0 update? That would be even better, maybe someone can instruct me how to roll it back.

Thanks. I have a support ticket but they are of no help, and the last few calls, they've just hung up on me. I've been escalated to a complaint and a note has gone to "the developers" whatever that means. There's entire Reddit posts filled with hate for this update, so I'm not alone...

You might receive a better response down there as no here will have no clue on where you bought your device. If your phone is still in warranty, then you might be able to replace it depending on where you bought it. Pretty much all samsung devices here have got the one ui 7.

If you Google the error you are getting you'll quickly see the common causes. Imei being blocked or blacklisted to damaged sim, etc. Update would not be the cause unless it unravelled some prior changes

The IMEI is not blocked. It is registered with my carrier. The SIM is not damaged, as it works fine in my other phone, and worked fine until this update. And this update has actually caused massive damage as you can see in the google searches for this update and the multiple threads on social media. Reddit has an entire sub for this update and the problems it has caused. But, thanks for your suggestions. I do appreciate your thoughtful response. The Samsung representative that I spoke with just now admitted they have received numerous complaints after this "upgrade" and are creating support tickets to be sent to the developers, so I'm not the only person experiencing a major issue.

Thank you. I bought my device from Samsung USA, less than a year ago, online in the US, delivered through the mail to my home in Florida, where I live. My device just updated overnight, automatically, where I'm physically, in Colombia. So, perhaps it's a forced updated, but not actually available here in Colombia, so Now my phone is useless? But I did not want the update. It worked fine before it and I'd like to have a working phone, wherever I happen to be in the world. So, this is upsetting for me.
