When my phone is unlocked (I don't use any pin or face or finger lock) and I tap on a notification on lock screen I have full-screen message "Swipe to open" and I need to swipe to open it. Any way I can make it to where you just tap to open?
No such kind of message and need to swipe presented on my previous S23 Ultra with the same UI 6.1. All the settings on both phones are identical (I cloned it).

That's not what I'm asking for. To clarify my question here's the video. My old S23 Ultra is on the right side. Left is new S24 Ultra. It looks like a bug on S24. Cause all the settings are the same.

I get such message (made screenshot from video) when I push any notification on S24 lock screen. And I just move directly to application which notification I've pushed on S23.

I would love to know the answer to this as well! I would like to disable it.

I'm unable to play your video but it sounds similar to my issue with the lock screen:
If unlocked by smart unlock I must swipe. Placing my finger on the finger print doesn't do it. It's not intuitive at all (Pixel devices have that consistency).
Also, the swipe function is not intuitive itself as it's unlocking when you release the finger.
Both together are just bad UX decisions.

I have this issue too. I have an S24+ SM-S926B (International variant) as my work mobile, and an S24+ SM-S926U1 (USA variant) as my personal mobile. I only use "Swipe to unlock" as my Screen lock type for both devices, and all other settings for each are identical as far as I can see.
When I tap any notification from the lockscreen of the work S24+ (International), the associated application will open straight away. However, when I perform the same action on the personal S24+ (USA) I get the stupid full screen "Swipe to open" notification pop-up, creating an extra and unnecessary step.
Considering the above, that these are the same phones, and are both on their most up-to-date versions of One UI 6.1, one would assume that there is some kind of function (albeit very hard to find) in Settings that operates this lockscreen/notification "feature". I'll be damned if I can find it though.
I am now needing to return my work phone due to an employment change, so would really appreciate some advice as to how I can turn off this useless and downright annoying extra step on my personal device.
Appreciate your help, and thanks in advance!

Did you ever figure this out? I had the same issue trying out a S23 and it still bugs me.
