Hi, can anyone please help....I have private numbers blocked so my phone doesn't ring when they call but they are still able to leave voicemail, I'm getting random messages.....is there a way to also block private numbers from leaving messages? Have trawled through my settings and can only find the block private numbers feature which to be honest isn't much good if they can still leave annoying/nuisance voicemail. Thanks

If you have caller id and spam protection enabled on your phone settings. Set it to block all spam and scam calls. If it doesn't work. You might be better off speaking to your mobile phone provider for help on this. I'm with EE, and they recently introduced Scam Guard to block nusiaunce calls as well as private numbers.

Ok 👍. Scam Guard only costs £1 a month. I'd say it is effective as it blocks all spam calls I get and doesn't block important calls. I'm not sure if it'll block private numbers. It's best to speak to EE about it and see what they say about it..

Contact your network provider
Voicemail settings will be done through them.

I think it depends. If you get a lot of spam calls daily, it probably is as the feature blocks any spam calls you get and goes straight to voice mail. I'm paying £1 a month for Scam Guard. You also get 3 months free of Dark Web Monitoring and cyber security with Norton. It's a 30 day contract and you cancel anytime. I don't use the cyber security with norton as it's an anti-virus app that you have to download as I prefer sticking to the built-in protection provided by Samsung Knox.

I suppose for a quid, it's worth a try at least until they start putting the price up anyway

Im not sure if they will increase it. As EE recently introduced the service. Good luck on trying it out
